Who would've thought when I started my 3 month contract with The Mob Film Co that I'd be editing a TVC for Cambodian television?
This advert for The International Series golf tournament was the first project that I had ever edited that was broadcasted internationally. It took several drafts and good communication with the rest of the team and the client, but ultimately I am very happy with the final product and would love the opportunity to edit more for TV.
I learned a lot about offline-to-online editing during the process of creating this ad, as well as extending the limits of my skills and creative choices.
SEVENBROTHERS
SevenBro7hers is a brewery and bar chain primarily based in Manchester, but with bars across the north from Liverpool to Halifax.
Myself and Ben, from Influence Studios, shot these ads for their Ancoats based bar to boost the quality of their social media output to great success and to announce the arrival of their brand new draught addition, Guinness.
I edited, graded, ACed and gaffered on these videos and I am chuffed with the results and, more importantly, so was the client.
SALTER KITCHENWARE
Salter is a brand owned by Ultimate Products, based in Chadderton, between Manchester and Oldham.
The opportunity to create this video for their products as part of a job application process, where I found myself in the final stage.
I had a blast making this, and love to shoot products in general. All I used was a camera, tripod and slider and yet, the video is mint.
ROOIBOS ICED TEA
I worked with Rooibos through the fantastic agency, "Flavour Sampling", and their great crew.
Following on from their long-standing tradition of letting their giraffes run wild in the new locations that Bos begins selling in, I headed down to London. We travelled across the city, shooting the giraffes as they visited the landmarks, like Big Ben and the London Eye, handed out free cans and entertained the public.
BOS required a lot of deliverables, 5 videos in 3 different aspect ratios alongside a minimum of 30 stills. No match for Spencer Fox Creative, I tell you.
SPONSORED SEGMENTS for Stephen Howson and Rio Ferdinand PRESENTS
While working as an intern at Stretford Paddock FC, I was offered a full-time role as content creator at their social media production company, Studio68. My primary work is as a videographer and video editor, as well as photographer and all things media for various platforms.
This work has involved working with YouTube channels with over 2 million total subscribers, and social media accounts with over 650,000+ total followers. This includes Five Presented by Rio Ferdinand, Stephen Howson, Stretford Paddock FC and Howson IRL, where I shoot and edit the adverts in their entirety. Howson IRL provides me with the widest variety of content to shoot.
I've created ads for brands like Manscaped, Surfshark, NordVPN, Ridge Wallets, TenTrade, Beer52, 7SevenLayer, Manchester United Trading Cards, Ekster and Hello Fresh amongst others, as part of Stephen Howson and Five's YouTube videos and social media posts.
